Ed Marinelli Elected to 2004 Chicago Electric Association Hall of Fame
Electri-Flex President Ed Marinelli was among those whose accomplishments in the
industry were recognized and honored by the Chicago Electric Association
recently. The Association held a celebratory dinner to honor its history and all
of its inductees, past and present, and to add new names to its list of nearly
100 Hall of Fame members from the past 30 years.
Marinelli’s nomination into the Hall of Fame was based on the accomplishments of
his 40-year career in the industry, which began in San Francisco. In 1966, he
worked as a junior salesman, honing his skills by establishing relationships
with wholesalers and end-users. As his experience grew, Marinelli took on more
responsibilities and larger territories. He eventually moved to the Midwest and,
in 1981, accepted a position with Electri-Flex. In 1991, he became the company’s
president.
Over the span of his career, Ed Marinelli’s leadership, innovation, and
dedication have made significant contributions to Electri-Flex and the industry
as a whole. His nomination to the Chicago Electric Association Hall of Fame
honors these accomplishments and the induction event was attended by many Hall
of Fame members and others in the electrical industry.
