Conduit Excels in Extreme Environments
Electri-Flex Company offers a complete
line of halogen-free, high/low temperature electrical conduit. These
conduits provide excellent resistance to abrasion, sunlight,
temperature extremes, and many chemicals. Working temperatures range
from -60°C to +150°C.
Electri-Flex's jacketed conduits offer
the advantages of a flexible sealed raceway coupled with the
strength of a metal core. Type AT conduit has a flexible
steel inner core with a specially designed PVC jacket that remains
flexible at extremely low temperatures and displays slower aging
characteristics at elevated temperatures.
Type ATLA
is a UL Listed version of AT using the same PVC jacket. Type ATX
incorporates a halogen-free Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) jacket, which
carries a flammability rating of UL 4-HB and is virtually unaffected
by temperature extremes.
Type CEA
is designed for confined spaces to 80°C conditions and is
constructed with a specially formulated polyurethane jacket that is
flame retardant with low smoke characteristics, over a flexible
steel inner core. A lightweight version, Type ACEA, is
produced with a flexible aluminum inner core. Type ZHLA uses
the same jacketing and performs under the same temperatures as CEA,
but conforms to UL 360 and carries a UL Listing.
Electri-Flex meets the need for a
lightweight, liquidtight, flexible raceway with its unique line of
Corrlok® nylon corrugated conduits. Type CL is a
standard weight conduit providing exceptional mechanical strength
and protection. Type CLL lightweight conduit offers improved
flexibility. Type CLFR is a low fire hazard version that
generates minimal smoke and toxic gas in fire situations. Type
CLR, a lightweight robotics version, is extremely flexible and
is intended for applications requiring continuous, repeated flexing
motion. Type CCG is an exceptionally lightweight commercial
grade version that provides a cost-effective alternative. These
products have operating temperatures that range from -50°C to
+105°C.
