Electri-Flex | March 31 COVID-19 Update

UPDATE FROM ELECTRI-FLEX ON WEEK 2 OF CORONAVIRUS CHICAGO SHELTER IN PLACE

As of today, we are still working and shipping much-needed wire and cable protection to the Electrical Industry. Although our workplace almost seems unrecognizable with almost two dozen administrative, sales and accounting staff working from home and about a third of our day shift now working at night. I want to thank all of you, our hard-working, loyal and dedicated Electri-Flex Employees for the sacrifices you make every single day. WE ARE an amazing company because of you.

As this pandemic continues to evolve and constant change in the workplace becomes the norm, we are constantly moving with an ever-changing playbook to ensure the health and safety of all Electri-Flex Employees. Starting today all vendors and service providers/visitors to our facilities must come prepared to wear face masks and latex/sterile safety gloves. Our bathrooms are off-limits to anyone from outside the company, and no unplanned service visits or solicitations are allowed. I know these may seem like extreme measures, but these are difficult extreme times and the safety and well-being of all employees along with our families is my greatest concern.

I want to take this opportunity to ask all of you to keep those most affected by this pandemic in all of our thoughts and prayers. Those that are affected economically, please pray that our economy makes a robust recovery and we get back to work soon.

Those who have been stricken by this virus we ask that they make a speedy and full recovery, and those who have lost a loved one we ask that they are granted comfort and hope in their time of loss.
