It Began With An Idea

The Company was founded by Harold Kinander, Sr., an entrepreneur who saw growth potential for flexible conduit in the market. So in 1955, in a vacated chicken hatchery in Roselle, Illinois, he built two coiling machines that produced the Company’s first flexible metal conduit, Type LT. Within a year, Liquatite was experiencing success in the marketplace. Today the Company offers nearly 50 varieties of Liquatite conduit, proving its innovative leadership position. It is sold through a professional network of manufacturers’ representatives and only to authorized electrical wholesalers.
