Liquatite® Conduit Meets the Demands of Electrification in Utility Infrastructure
ELECTRI-FLEX COMPANY, Roselle, IL USA, meets the demands of electrification with Liquatite® flexible conduit, built tough for Utility, Power Plant, and Steel Mill installations. Liquatite® conduit provides durable wiring protection in harsh outdoor UV-exposed environments and extreme high and low-temperature installations. Liquatite® stands up to the growing infrastructure requirements, designed using cutting-edge engineering and built with the highest quality materials, providing stability to keep systems running into the future.
System optimization utilizing the highest quality building materials is essential for keeping utilities, power plants, and steel mills running efficiently and at peak performance. Liquatite® flexible conduit offers a variety of solutions that are engineered to work in extreme high and low-temperature environments, are UV-resistant, UL and CSA certified, liquidtight, and resistant to oils and mild acids. These American-made conduits are constructed of the highest quality materials and are available and in-stock for quick project availability.
Type ATLA | A liquidtight flexible steel conduit designed specifically for extreme hot or cold environments as its specially formulated PVC jacket remains flexible at low temperatures and resists aging at elevated temperatures. It is both UL and CSA certified, as well as CSA “Heavy Duty” for additional rugged protection. Its working temperatures are -55°C to 105°C Air/60°C Wet/70°C Oil.
Type ATX | A non-UL liquidtight flexible steel conduit designed to withstand the greatest temperature range: -60°C to 150°C intermitting to 165°C. Its core is made from a corrosion-resistant plated steel, and its jacketing is made of thermoplastic rubber, making it a halogen-free solution with UV stabilization and a flame rating of UL94-HB.
Type LNMP | A nonmetallic cULus listed liquidtight conduit ideally suited for continuous flexing applications as it does not contain a metal core that could fatigue from repeated flexing or vibration. Its type A construction includes a flexible PVC inner core with a nylon reinforcing braid, topped with a flexible PVC outer core, offering flame-retardant properties. Its working temperatures are -55°C to 105°C Air/60°C Wet/70°C Oil.
