Electri-Flex offers four Food Grade Liquatite® conduit options: Types LAFG, LAFG-SS, NMFG, and LNMP-Food Grade. These conduits are engineered with features specifically developed for food and beverage applications, including FDA-approved jacketing, smooth exterior for easy washdowns, resistance to sodium hypochlorite (bleach), and a liquidtight construction. Certified to meet demanding industry standards, Food Grade Liquatite® conduits are UL Listed, NSF Certified Components, compliant with FDA CFR 21 requirements, and meet NSF 51/61 standards.
Types LAFG, LAFG-SS, and LNMP-Food Grade feature antimicrobial blue PVC jacketing designed to inhibit the growth of commonly known food processing microbes, including E. coli, Listeria, and Salmonella. The distinctive blue color enhances product safety by making conduit fragments easier to identify should accidental damage occur within processing areas. These conduit types also offer an extended temperature range up to -37°C to 105°C, making them suitable for installations near freezers, high-temperature processing equipment, and frequent hot-water washdowns.
